HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING CROSSFIT?

I’ve been doing CrossFit for 14 months.


WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO COME TO CROSSFIT? WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS?

My motivation to come to CrossFit is to feel what it is to push myself to my limits. My goals within CrossFit is to get better, see what my best is and to be healthy through the rest of my life. 


WHAT DOES CROSSFIT MEAN TO YOU?

CrossFit means many things to me. It gives me a sense of achievement, growing confidence through mental /physical perseverance and most of all the gift of an amazing community.


WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TYPES OF WORKOUTS IN CROSSFIT?

Some of my favorite movements that come to mind are the back squat, renegade row and candle stick.


COACH JUST GAVE YOU THE CONTROL FOR SPOTIFY – WHAT'S YOUR WORKOUT SONG OF CHOICE?

A motivating song I’d pick is Titanium.

HOW HAS CROSSFIT AFFECTED YOUR LIFE OUTSIDE OF THE GYM?

CrossFit at Kakou and its community has given me more confidence to try new things. My mental abilities to keep pushing past what was my limit has also grown.

 

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE A NEWBIE JOINING CROSSFIT KAKOU?  

I think it's important when something is new is to remember; you don’t achieve success unless you try and you can’t fail unless you give up.
